TRADE ONLY EVENT, STRICTLY NO CHILDREN
The International Media Centre will provide a work base for all journalists and broadcast teams. Facilities will include downloadable event photography, business amenities and a whats on? board.
This year, in line with the countrys bid to reduce our own carbon footprint, Interiors Birmingham will create a paperless Media Centre. Paper press packs will be a thing of the past and exhibitors will now be requested to supply digital press packs.
Journalists will be issued with a USB memory stick when they arrive at the event. Exhibitor press packs will be uploaded onto the PCs in the Media Centre and journalists will be able to drag the information onto their memory sticks.
In doing so, we are creating a sustainable environment which will also negate the need for journalists to carry around heavy bags of press material.
